Questions
What can I build here?
A starting five drawn from the league's own history, played through a full season and its playoffs. The daily board deals one shared five to everybody; the other modes deal fresh eras, hide the numbers, or hand you a budget.
Which players are in the pool?
Careers from across the league's history, from its founding seasons to the current one. Each card is a real season with the numbers that season posted — never a rating and never a projection.
Are these compared against the NBA?
No, and that is deliberate. The WNBA has a shorter season and its own record book, so every card here is measured against WNBA seasons. Comparing across leagues would flatter one and bury the other while telling you nothing.
Why only five seats?
Because rosters are small and the starting five decides games. It makes every pick heavier than it would be in a twelve-seat draft — there is nowhere to hide a luxury selection.
What is the daily WNBA board?
One shared five, live for the calendar day, identical worldwide. Draft it, let the season run, and your record lands on that day's table.
How are the early years handled?
On their own terms. The league's founding seasons were played at a different pace with different rules, so those careers are rated against that era rather than against the modern game they helped create.
